For the first time Eduard Panichev (Ed Verano) has got interest in music back in ‘96. Back then everything that was popular was being listened: Pop, Eurohouse, Progressive House, Dance. Everything was written into tape cassetes from radio stations and it was pretty hard to systemize the saved material. After 5 years, when the CD disks were introduced and got popular, he also started listening to DnB, Techno & R’n'B and that gave him new posibilities. A simple interest in music continued to exist for a short time. While being in a club called Underground he heard phrases like “today we have Dj Andrew playing here…”. He started to read articles about the DJing techniques and about famous DJ’s. It wasn’t very long before he got the chance to play his first set on a school disco. And after that it all has started. There were no equipment at home, but a very useful software VirtualDJ was found and it made possible to start making tracks using it. For this time a new style was being formed, a style that would be the most favored by him - it’s House music. Ed Verano, from his childhood, had been a friend to Alex Van Carden, and they were creating track compilations together. But Alex Van Carden enjoyed Break Beat and Trance more than house, and Ed Verano liked different House styles more. While Alex Van Carden was writing his first tracks in the early 2006’s, Ed Verano more and more fell in love with House. For this time they both played on private parties a bit. During the 2007 Ed Verano developed a strong affection towards such styles as Soulful House, Deep House, Funky House, Latino House, Disco House and Lounge. And as he got to work with one of the best sound editors in Riga for a year, his teacher has taught Jazz to him. At the end of 2007 he came to know with Eternity DJ’s producers, and he worked with them as a photograph. But a huge desire for writing house tracks makes him create a project in cooperation with Alex Van Carden called Grape Box. And at the end of May 2008 he appeared at the AIRBASE | Magnetica party as Grape Box. After which from June same year he is a member of the Eternity DJs project.
